Coach / Gators Swim Club
Jeff Natalizio started his career as a successful age group and high school swimmer in Southern California. After winning the CIF Championship with Irvine High School, he went on to swim at UC Berkeley, where he was a 3-time All-American and placed 2nd at the Pac-10 Championships in the 200 IM and 3rd in the 100 backstroke. Jeff also qualified for the Olympic Trials in both 2000 and 2004. Jeff has experience with various sport-specific training modalities, having been head coach at a small northern California swim club, before spending over 3 years in the fitness industry and earning a CSCS strength and conditioning certification—the same that is held by trainers for most professional sports teams. In this capacity, he has coached athletes ranging from age-group swimmers to Major League Soccer players, as well as world ranked breaststrokers. Jeff’s ideology places equal importance on injury prevention and overall athleticism as well as technical development and race-speed intensity of training. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Art Practice from UC Berkeley and his creativity shows in his training methods.
